Roles & Responsibilities

About the team

Our professionals at KPMG Management Consulting are independent advisors, speaking their clients’ language and aware of their issues thanks to a broad experience in serving major domestic and international companies, medium-sized enterprises, non-profit organizations, and government institutions. We are focused on providing realistic answers so that our clients can make better decisions.

Project Management

• Support responses to and execution of work across a range of supply chain, and associated advisory projects;
• Participate, lead, manage supply chain assignments;
• Conduct client meetings and interviews
• Lead and/or facilitate workshops;
• Type of projects in Supply Chain:
• working capital (inventory) improvement
• supply chain network optimization
• S&OP (sales & operations planning)
• transportation management and lean/operational excellence

Business Development

• Assist in business development by writing proposals and client presentations;
• Assist in the development of our service offerings;
• Extend your professional network;
• Additionally, you will keep up to date with all industry-specific issues which may affect your clients and support & develop business development initiatives including assisting on proposals and tenders;

People Management

• As a performance manager, you will manage, develop, motivate, train and coach team members to maximize the achievement of their potential.

Skills & Qualifications

• You hold a master’s degree and 5 to 6 years of experience in supply chain;
• You have ideally passed part of it in an operational role and part of in a consultancy function;
• You have affinity with Strategy definition & development, Operations Research, Demand Planning and Inventory Planning;
• You are pragmatic, analytical and stress resistant;
• You are client minded and can work independently and in a team;
• You are commercially driven and able to demonstrate a sound of knowledge of wider business factors;
• You have good communication skills in Dutch and French with an advanced level in English;
• You can deliver a project on your own at the client and supervise a small team of consultants;
• You are prepared to travel;
• You are interested in technology and have experience in the implementation of technologies like BlueYonder, OM partners, Llamasoft, other.
