We are looking for several Project Planner to join our team dedicated to a very large construction project in Belgium (Mons area). In this role, you will act as client representative on a large and complex construction program where we are providing the full suite of professional services including technical project management, cost- & planning management and construction management. The responsibilities include-

  • Cost management-
    • Based on your knowledge of target prices, sector publications and internal benchmarking, you can draw up and verify cost models by yourself, from feasibility studies to detailed designs.
    • You verify the measurement records for their conformity with measurement methods and contractual clauses and supervise the tendering process and the quotation presentations.
    • You create financial analyses from quotations and draw up tender reports.
    • You take care of the financial reporting and keep the financial dashboards up to date.
    • you take on an advisory role regarding the financial aspect, scope control and use of the contingency budget
    • You check receivables according to actual execution and conformity and prepare payment certificates.
    • You are jointly responsible for the complete data and information management regarding investment and maintenance costs
    • Planning management
      • You establish a framework for managing schedules- definition of the schedule levels, schedule calendars, how to measure progress, definition of baselines and changes, etc.
      • You maintain the program schedule

      Profil

      • You hold an general engineer degree with construction orientation
      • you have minimum 5 years of experience in complex construction projects with several technic including shutdowns
      • You are fluent in English and French
      • You have proven experience as a cost manager and a strong affinity with the sector
      • Experience developing project schedules (Primavera) is a must
