Customer Service Manager (m/f/x)

Position

As the Customer Service Manager for the Petit-Rechain site, you ensure that the customer service and warehouse departments (16 FTE) deliver a positive customer experience. You coordinate all activities required to perform and deliver as per the customers’ demands, taking into account all respective plant systems and procedures.

To do so, you follow up on customers’ expectations, requirements and specifications, and ascertain that they are transferred within the internal systems. You plan the daily routine and validate the cycles and maintenance into the systems, with the aim to reserve capacity and optimize production efficiency.

You coordinate, monitor and support the customer service’s and warehouse’s daily functions. You follow-up on forecasts, process orders fluently and keep customer files up to date. You maintain and improve relations with customers, working in close collaboration with the other departments in order to build and maintain a solid and lean order-to-cash process, fully integrated in the ERP environment.

You establish a pro-active and adequate communication with customers regarding special request, samples, lab work requests, process deviations, delays or any issues, and propose solutions. You guarantee that the customers’ expectations are met or exceeded, providing on-time and correct deliverables. You handle any complaint the customer may have with the relevant department(s) and lead the customers’ request internally to ensure they receive an appropriate reply.

You animate the customer service and the warehouse teams in an efficient and well balanced way, including but not limited to managing performance reviews and merits. You share your expertise and boost the skills and knowledge of your teams.

You enforce quality and safety requirements as well as managing and supporting the different improvement projects in a structured and efficient way.

You work in close collaboration with the inside Sales and the Area Sales Manager. You are part of the management team and report directly to the site Managing Director.

Profile

  • You hold a Bachelor degree or can fall back on equivalent experience;
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position, experience with OpEx is an asset;
  • You are fluent in French and English, a 3rd language is an advantage;
  • You are well organized, diplomatic, reliable and service minded;
  • You are recognized for your strong team focus and leadership skills.
