Your Title:Customer Support Engineer - First LineJob Location:Belgium - Leuven or Ieper - Hybrid or Germany, Poland - RemoteOur Department:Transportation & LogisticsInterested in positioning yourself with an innovative industry leader and becoming one of our experts?Do you want to help support customers from across Europe to get the best out of our software, allowing them to increase their transportation efficiency.We are seeking a First Line Support Engineer to join our Customer Support team who is commutable to our Leuven or Ieper office in Belgium ORa remote First Line specialist based in Germany or Poland. If you are based in Belgium, this position would be hybrid working so you would work from one of our offices on average 2-3 times per week.As a First Line Support Engineer, you will be responsible for being the first point of contact for our European clients. You will work with them to resolve relatively simple and more complex issues with our logistics software. You will become knowledgeable and adept at resolving client issues within agreed timeframes, if this isn’t possible you will then escalate to second line support ensuring that you update our clients within a timely manner.To be successful in this position you do not need to be a software expert as full training will be provided but you must be passionate about offering our clients exceptional customer support and you must enjoy problem solving.Measures Of Success
  • Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
  • Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem
  • Track terminal devices issues through to resolution, within agreed response time
  • Talk customers through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat, until they’ve solved a technical issue
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers and follow up to ensure full functionality after troubleshooting
  • Ensure all issues are properly logged
  • Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
  • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
  • Have a customer mindset and maintain jovial relationships with customers
Skills & Experience
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
  • Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus
  • Collaborative, flexible attitude with strong commitment to provide excellent customer service
  • Great problem-solving and communication skills
  • Fluent in English and either Dutch, French, German or Polish
