Functional analyst / data analyst senior

Job description - expanded Interested in data? We are looking for an experienced functional analyst to join our team! We are looking for a motivated Functional Analyst to strengthen the insurance agents team on our ART Leads & Insights. As a Functional Analyst you will join a team of experienced analysts and developers. You have experience in the analytical thinking process and you dare to question things in order to guarantee quality in our environments. You have a strong interest in Big Data technologies. You are able to demonstrate the added value of IT to our end users and their customers. The ’red thread’ within the ART Leads & Insights is the development of and support for data solutions. In addition to the interesting data world of insurance, there are also Big Data solutions with their specific tools & technologies (Python, Spark, Hadoop, …). With this step towards a data-driven company

Responsibilities – expanded

· You are responsible for translating business requirements into functional requirements. You take both functional and non-functional matters (performance, scalability, security, usability) into account.

o You are responsible for a qualitative transfer to and support of the developers.

o You contribute to the preparation and management of the planning of the various analyses.

o You contribute to the preparation and updating of documentation.

·Understand and deal with data models. Working with data is the basis, and following the GDPR guidelines.

· Challenge the requirements and discuss with the Data Management Body (DMO) whether the implementations are implemented in a qualitative way.

· Participate in the E2E tests and take responsibility for this. • Able and willing to work in a continuously changing environment and tools.

Needed Qualifications - expanded

· You know the principles of agile/safe working and succeed in applying them

· You can easily get along with Jira and Confluence.

oYou have knowledge of Python (notebooks)

oYou are a team player with a positive attitude and a good sense of humor.

· You work smoothly with your own team as well as with other teams. You easily consult and involve others in your assignment, you build a network within our organization and use this when it can be useful.

oYou have strong analytical skills to understand our E2E business processes.

o You are pragmatic and you think out-of-the-box.

· You like to take responsibility and demonstrate the necessary entrepreneurial spirit. This will help you achieve your goal. Achieving results together with your colleagues gives you extra energy.

· You communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, and you succeed in convincingly presenting your story. You succeed in this in both Dutch and English.
