Digital Hive is looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing team!

As a Data Engineer professional, we expect you to be confident in applying data modeling and architecture principles (ER modeling, normalization, ETL/ELT, tiered data warehouses, ...).

You should have experience with commonly used data processing and transformation tools and languages (SQL, Python, DBT, ...) as well as general software engineering best practices (version control/git, unit testing, ...) and Agile Scrum methodology (Jira, Confluence, ...).

Your analytical and problem-solving mindset will help us expand and improve our customer’s data and data pipeline architectures. So, it is crucial to have a proactive, flexible, and goal-oriented mindset, with good communication skills for functional and technical requirement iterations.

Qualifications:

  • Mandatory:
  • University degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Mathematics, or a comparable education/experience,
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and at least one programming language (Python, C#, Java, among others),
  • Experience building and/or maintaining an enterprise data warehouse (Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault, among others),
  • Knowledge and experience in building ETL processes,
  • Excellent business English.
  • Bonus:
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, MS Azure, GCP),
  • Experience with CI/CD principles and code repository tools (Git),
  • Experience in Jupyter notebooks, Argo, and Great Expectations.
