THE SCOPE

With 30 years of history, today Gaming1 is one of the international leaders in both land-based and online games of chance (casino games, sports betting and poker). Its evolution at the heart of innovation is accompanied by a diversification and specialization of positions, with the creation of new cutting-edge jobs. As part of its sustained growth, Gaming1 is looking for a Data Scientist to join its team.

Data is a key asset on which Gaming1 wishes to rely to refine its products, better understand its customers: players, and improve its commercial performance. Data Sciences applied to the field of games open up exciting perspectives for processing in real time a large volume of heterogeneous data and extracting decisional information. Several topics with high added value are addressed by the Data Science team: fraud management, online behavior analysis, increasing brand loyalty.

YOUR ROLE

Based on issues raised by business teams (marketing, sales, UX, betting, anti-fraud), the Data Scientist team’s mission is to:

• Understand the problem
• Find a model (simple statistics or machine learning) to answer the problem
• Determine the relevant data needed to address the issue
• Participate in technical and functional analysis to guide teams towards effective data collection
• Implement and optimize modules involved in data collection
• Implement models (machine learning) that can easily be integrated within existing systems
• Participate in technical and functional analyzes to guide teams towards an effective integration of the model
  
  

YOUR PROFILE

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Data Science
• At least 2 years of experience
• Passionate about scientific modeling, programming and the world of internet
• Desired experience in machine learning
• Mandatory Python programming skills
• Fluent FR and EN
• Valid and permanent working licence
