Qualifications & Experience
Responsibilities
- You coordinate with the Cloud & Desktop development teams to develop and implement DevOps/Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) solutions to automate and improve development and release processes
- You identify and solve issues with system operations, focusing on automation and minimizing costs
- You contribute to building a corporate DevOps culture: Contribute to the organizational DevOps change building strong relationships, gaining trust in their peers, empowering developers, operations, security, and scrum teams to embrace DevOps
- You evaluate new technologies and tools, develop prototypes, and establish patterns and practices that benefit the team
- You provide maintenance and support of the existing components and extend their functionality according to business needs
Requirements
- 5+ years of Software Engineering and/or SRE experience
- Agile/Scrum mindset
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, GitLab, Jenkins or alike
- Proven hands-on experience with AWS and services such as EC2, EKS, S3, VPC, CloudFront, CloudWatch
- Experience with tools such as Puppet, Artifactory, Ansible, Kafka, Terraform, Elasticsearch
- Configuration of metrics and performance monitoring
- VMs management (docker, hyper-v, Virtualbox, …)
- Strong analytical and programming skills (Python, Go, Java, PowerShell, shell/batch scripts etc)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and great attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Solid understanding of networking is a considerable plus
