Qualifications & Experience


Responsibilities

  • You coordinate with the Cloud & Desktop development teams to develop and implement DevOps/Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) solutions to automate and improve development and release processes
  • You identify and solve issues with system operations, focusing on automation and minimizing costs
  • You contribute to building a corporate DevOps culture: Contribute to the organizational DevOps change building strong relationships, gaining trust in their peers, empowering developers, operations, security, and scrum teams to embrace DevOps
  • You evaluate new technologies and tools, develop prototypes, and establish patterns and practices that benefit the team
  • You provide maintenance and support of the existing components and extend their functionality according to business needs

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering and/or SRE experience
  • Agile/Scrum mindset
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, GitLab, Jenkins or alike
  • Proven hands-on experience with AWS and services such as EC2, EKS, S3, VPC, CloudFront, CloudWatch
  • Experience with tools such as Puppet, Artifactory, Ansible, Kafka, Terraform, Elasticsearch
  • Configuration of metrics and performance monitoring
  • VMs management (docker, hyper-v, Virtualbox, …)
  • Strong analytical and programming skills (Python, Go, Java, PowerShell, shell/batch scripts etc)
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and great attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Solid understanding of networking is a considerable plus
