One of our clients is looking to strengthen their Agile teams with an experienced Business Analyst whose responsibilities will be the investigation, analysis, review, and documentation of all or part of a business in terms of business goals, objectives, functions, and processes, the information used and the data on which the information is based.

Role & responsibility

The definition of requirements for improving processes and systems, reducing their costs, enhancing their sustainability, and the quantification of potential business benefits.

The collaborative creation and iteration of viable specifications and acceptance criteria in preparation for the deployment of information and communication systems.

The adoption and adaptation of business analysis approaches based on the context of the work and selecting appropriately from predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/Agile) approaches.

Among your responsibilities

Takes full responsibility for business analysis within a significant segment of an organisation where the advice given, and decisions made will have a measurable impact on the profitability or effectiveness of the organisation.

Leads the selection of appropriate business analysis methods, tools, techniques, selecting appropriately from plan-driven/predictive approaches or more adaptive (iterative and Agile) approaches.

Establishes the contribution that technology can make to business objectives, defining strategies, validating, and justifying business needs, conducting feasibility studies, producing high-level and detailed business models, preparing business cases, overseeing development and implementation of solutions, taking into account the implications of change on the organisation and all stakeholders.

Guides senior management towards accepting change brought about through process and organizational change.

Experience

You have a proven experience in software engineering and as Business Analyst

You have practical experience with projects in relevant engineering domain.

You have knowledge of cloud computing—Microsoft Azure

You have knowledge of typical Business Analyst approach.

You are familiar with principles of computer networks and IT security management.

You have experience in business analysis techniques and processes.

Education & Soft-Skills

You must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science or an IT-related discipline. Certifications are a plus.

You must be an analytical thinker.

You must be able to evaluate the likely effects of programs on the profitability of the businesses

You have skills in designing, reporting, and documenting. You may know modelization language such as "ArchiMate" (Nice to have), BPM, ....

You know industry best practices and have experience with software systems.

You are active, dynamic, and assertive and are not afraid to challenge.

You have analytical, pragmatic, and problem-solving abilities.

You can work alone and, in a group, and time consciousness.

You have good presentation and report-writing skills.

You are fluent in both spoken and written English.

You are customer centric.

You are professional, transparent and you have a positive mindset.

Non-mandatory, but desired: - IIBA (Ecba, CCBA, CBAP, AAC, ...) - Knowledge / Curiosity for what the person is doing - PMI PBA - Knowledge / Curiosity for what the person is doing - CSM, CSPO, CAPM, .... Knows how a team works and does not derive in intellectual university discussions.
