Our Client in the Bruges Area develops and manufactures electromechanical components for the automotive sector (including connectors and inductive systems for automotive electronics applications). They are looking for a Distribution Warehouse Manager.

! Start date is foreseen in the first quarter of 2022.

As the Distribution Warehouse Manager, you will coordinate all warehouse activities with the aim of providing optimal stock management and correct receipt and dispatch of goods within the predefined KPIs.

Role:

You set guidelines, systems, quality standards and procedures for the proper functioning of the warehouse processes, in line with the policies and standards of the organization

You are ultimately responsible for the warehouse related KPIs

You manage the computerized stock management system

You strive for improvements and are hereby responsible for the coordination of warehouse related projects

You coordinate and organize the various activities of the warehouse team according to the priorities and skills of everyone

You coach and develop your employees

You keep yourself constantly informed of the developments within the field

You manage the operational functioning with the 3PL

You align with the internal stakeholders regarding the optimization of the logistics flow

You are responsible for managing the agreements with transporters

You monitor the transport costs and adjust where possible

You are responsible for the preparation of the budgets so that the operational functioning remains guaranteed

Profile:

You have a master degree in Economics or equivalent through experience

You have experience in leading a department, you are a real people manager

You are analytical and problem solving

You have knowledge of logistic processes, including customs formalities

You have good communication skills

You have knowledge of Dutch & English, German is a plus

You have knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
