Company

This company stands for quality and fast service in a vibrant atmosphere. The different shops are all located in Brussels on tactical points in and around the city. The shops all have their own interior with a few tables for a quick breakfast or cozy lunch. De products and dishes that are sold, are also perfect for take-away formula.
As the focus is breakfast and lunch, the shops are only open during the day. Every location counts 2 to 4 employees and a team of ambulants and students.
Duet to the growth of the company, they created room to hire a District Manager.


Duties

As the District Manager of this company your main responsibility is to lead the different locations. Your tasks can be divided in the following subjects:


Operations & Team Management

  • coaching of the teams in the different shops
  • planning and organisations
  • guidance of the shop managers to reach their objectives
  • create and maintain the right, efficient and satisfying work environment
  • organisation of team meetings

Hospitality Management

  • ensure the true hospitality experience in each shop, together with the managers and the teams
  • increase and maintain quality and service
  • follow-up and optimise customer service
  • observation of trends, development and local initiatives


Finance, strategy and development

  • cost control and monitoring of productivity, revenue, foodwaste, staff cost, …
  • analysis of the KPI’s per shop, reporting to the head office
  • maximise profitability
  • follow-up of procedures
  • implementation of company strategy, translation to operations
  • realisation of further grow and opening of new shops

Other:

  • product- and quality management, follow-up on HACCP
  • control of the stock management and contacts with suppliers
  • organisation of internal logistics
  • facility management
  • follow-up of B2B orders

Profile

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent through experience
  • experience in a management position within hospitality, preferable in a (concept) chain
  • organized people manager who is able to coach and challenge the teams
  • language skills: French, English and Dutch
  • analytical, knowledge of cost control, budgeting, etc.
  • independent worker, but also team oriented
