E-commerce & Online Business Development Manager

Specialist in marketplaces and expanding online sales channels

Position
  • As the E-commerce & Online Business Development Manager you will lead the online sales operations for the EMEA region of EcoWater Systems. In this function you’ll focus on the expansion of marketplaces and on gaining deeper insight towards a sustainable and succesfull online sales process in order to strenghten and improve end user acquisition and retention. You will also be accountable for the P&L of the online Sales channel.
  • On the one hand you will further maintain and expand the ongoing cooperation with the AMAZON stakeholders (vendor manager, advertising team, logistics, content improvement) and on the other hand you will identify e-commerce growth opportunities and establish new collaborations.
  • You will also further develop the processes to drive new direct-to-consumer revenue streams through identifying the proper ways-to-market and then setting up the digital marketing and transaction strategies to execute these processes.
  • You will provide support to the regional marketing teams in terms of digital marketing expertise thereby supporting traffic and lead generation strategies as well as crossing different traffic channels including organic, paid, social, email, etc.
  • You develop a KPI dashboard for all internal stakeholders to share best practises, uncover further optimizations and identify new digital marketing opportunities. In this way, you facilitate the sharing and retention of knowledge and experience within the marketing team.
  • You keep yourself constantly informed about the latest e-commerce developments as well as on new trends and upcoming marketplaces, so that you can enrich the entire EMEA marketing team with up-to-date and innovative ideas and initiatives in this field.
  • You will report directly to the Managing Director of EcoWater Systems EMEA.

Profile
  • You have a bachelor and/or master degree in a marketing field or are equivalent through experience.
  • You have proven experience in e-commerce and expanding sales channels through new marketplaces. Preferably this experience was gained in a retail or B2C context. You have at least experience in a B2B e-commerce function.
  • You don’t need to be a specialized marketing data analyst, but you do know how to deal efficiently with lead generation, Google advertising, SEO, SEM, etc.
  • You easily make new contacts and show the necessary commercial flair to conduct negotiations.
  • You like to work independently but can also regularly work well together with different colleagues within the organization
  • You are preferably living in one of the countries with an Ecowater office, being: Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Poland or the UK.
