We are looking for a E&PS HVAC Coordinator to join the team at ExxonMobil in Antwerp.
For this position the candidate needs strong communication skills in English and Dutch. French is optional. Without, we will not be able to proceed your application.

Background:

This position provides services for E&PS.
The existing systems and equipment vary from basic comfort applications to highly complex. Included are heating, ventilation, steam, compressed air, humidification, water treatment, water and extraction systems in all offices, main buildings, laboratories and process hall areas.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Hard Services Manager in Antwerp Refinery.
Reporting to Facility Supervisor in AMPP.

Main objectives lie within:
  • Coordinate operation and maintenance of HVAC system (boilers, coolers, air handling units), the BMS (Building Management System) and all electrical installations
  • Coordinate operation and maintenance of cooling and ventilation systems related to main buildings on site (Refinery + AMPP) and process and safety critical extraction systems
  • Coordinate operation and maintenance of other utilities such as steam generators, water treatment and cooling towers.
  • Propose, optimize and implement preventive maintenance programs aligned with the SLA (Service Level Agreement between ExxonMobil and CBRE), OHGP (Occupational Health Global Practices) and eMerge expectations for the above systems
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance, testing and repairs at the above systems
  • Assistance with strategic systems upgrade plans
  • Assistance with engineering of related site projects
  • Supervision of external engineering of HVAC project
  • Internal engineering of HVAC projects
  • Lead of construction of assigned site projects
  • Coordinate installation, programming, tuning and balancing of new HVAC equipment
  • Provide guidance for operation and maintenance to a team of own HVAC technicians and house contractors
  • Develop, propose environmental strategies based on reducing energy and water consumption
  • Perform regular contractor safety evaluation
  • Coordinate maintenance and construction with colleague E&PS Facility Coordinators and Supervisors and ExxonMobil.
  • Responsible for operating budget of HVAC and utility systems as described above
  • Responsible for timely purchase orders and choice of suppliers
  • Responsible for site stock of HVAC components and material
  • Responsible for review and updating of assigned OMPs (Operation & Maintenance Procedures)
  • Responsible for timely requests in MOC (Management of Change)
  • Collaboration with SHE department in order to comply with legal requirements related to energy consumption, water consumption, water quality, air quality

Required skills:

Education:
  • Technical knowledge and practical skills related to HVAC, sanitary and central heating, electricity and automation
  • At least 10 years of experience in HVAC engineering and electrical maintenance or equivalent knowledge.
  • Practical knowledge of MS Office

Personality:
  • Team player (colleagues E&PS Supervisors)
  • Team leader (guidance to his/her contractors)
  • Ownership of assigned equipment and budget
  • Organizes own work and priorities within agreed objectives
  • Problem solver, with good feeling for realistic and simple solutions
