Job Description:

As part of the proper internal functioning of the organization and the management of problems related to the energy transition (in particular the problem of inverter disconnections), Client wishes to strengthen its team in the Internal Electricity Design Office.

The purpose of this contract is to provide these specialized resources:

Internal Electricity Design Office Technician, 100% occupancy

Main tasks:

1. Analyze voltage problems (overvoltage / under voltage) with the appropriate tools at his disposal, identify the most appropriate way to resolve them and submit them to one of the managers of the design office.

2. Be responsible for the quality of the (technical) studies in order to guarantee the safety, quality and efficiency of the networks.

3. Ensure project monitoring by encoding and archiving information in the section’s own applications.

4. Cost the project based on unit prices applied at Client.

5. Participate in technical meetings with various project authors, our partners, internal and external clients.

6. Produce meeting reports to inform the head of the design office.

7. Follow the various training courses deemed by Client to be necessary for the performance of the function.

On-site presence at the company is required. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on working days.

Context

As a Distribution Network Manager (GRD), Client’s mission is to transport electricity and gas via medium and low voltage (electricity) and medium and low pressure (gas) networks to our users, whether they are professionals or individuals.

In this context, Client has an Internal Electricity Design Office whose role is to study and optimize connection, extension, renewal or relocation projects, network restructuring projects in order to guarantee the safety, quality and efficiency of the Electricity network.

Skills:

· Have the basic knowledge to calculate, size, and/or optimize an electricity network in the very short term

· Knowledge of French (minimum level C1)

· Bachelor’s degree in electro mechanics/electricity or technical engineer

· Experience with AutoCAD

· Experience with Corel Designer tool

· Experience in operating an electrical design office

· Proficiency in MS Office computer tools

· Minimum 3 years of experience as an electrical technician or engineer

· Experience within a DSO is an asset
