We’re looking for an Embedded Software Engineer who has a good knowledge of the Rust programming language and its embedded ecosystem.

    qualifications

    • you hold a professional bachelor or masters degree in engineering or equivalent through experience
    • converting requirements and specifications into code and functionality: check!
    • you’d rather use openocd than println! when debugging
    • you collect popular development boards or at least know how to use them
    • hardware constraints such as ram, cpu cycles, program size or throughput do not scare you
    • test and validation equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers are familiar
    • languages you are comfortable with: rust, english

    bonus points:

    • you speak c, c++, python, french or dutch
    • you know your way around in (embedded) linux distributions
    • you’ve got experience with iot development
    • real-time operating systems have no secrets for you

    • you can turn project requirements into working applications
    • achieving quality through (unit) testing and code reviews comes naturally to you
    • documenting the software implementation is (a necessary evil) fun
    • you are actively involved in the rust community
    • being a rust mentor for junior engineers is your cup of tea
