Your Role

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll develop and integrate software for complex embedded environments. Working closely with hardware engineers and low-level firmware specialists, you’ll help shape tightly coupled systems where software brings custom hardware to life.

  • Design and develop embedded software components in Python and Qt/C++
  • Interface with programmable hardware (e.g., FPGA-based platforms)
  • Collaborate on low-level system integration and performance tuning
  • Analyze schematics and bring up hardware in a software-controlled environment
  • Contribute to internal frameworks and upstream enhancements to open-source projects
  • Stay engaged with industry trends and evolving technologies through continued learning
Your Profile

You’re a problem-solver with a strong embedded mindset and a passion for working at the system level. You enjoy building robust solutions for real-time, performance-sensitive use cases.

  • Degree in Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong experience with embedded Linux and Yocto-based builds
  • Familiarity with GitLab CI, GStreamer, Linux drivers, and automated testing (e.g., Pytest)
  • Hands-on with tools like Ansible, U-Boot, and Ubuntu-based dev environments
  • Exposure to robotics or distributed systems frameworks (e.g., ROS 2, OpenAPI)
Bonus points for experience with:

  • Low-latency video streaming protocols (RTSP, WebRTC)
  • Computer vision and hardware acceleration (OpenCV, GPU, FPGA)
  • Microcontrollers running RTOS environments
  • Labgrid, DDS, or AI pipelines for embedded platforms
