Function

Barco Entertainment’s R&D team in Liège is looking for2 Embedded Software Engineers (1 junior, 1 senior) eager to join our international high-tech environment.

As Our Embedded Sofware Engineer You Will
  • Be responsible for the development of media servers for projectors (Cinema)
  • Be using C++14/17/20
  • Deliver good quality, by creating your own test scripts, within time and following coding standards
  • Participate in the Agile way of working
  • Work with geographically distributed teams (Belgium, Germany, India)

Your Profile
  • You hold a bachelor or master degree in software development
  • You are used to working in a Linux environment
  • You have software development skills in C++11/14 (17 or 20 is a plus)
  • You have experience with embedded security and cryptography
  • Experience with GIT is relevant
  • Experience in the audio/video domain (file streaming, audio/video player, content management, ..) is relevant
  • Object oriented thinking/development is not an issue for you
