YOUR ROLE

As an Embedded Software Engineer specializing in medical devices, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining embedded software solutions that power critical healthcare equipment. You will work within cross-functional teams to ensure software reliability, performance, and compliance with industry standards.

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Developing embedded software applications in C for medical device systems
  • Collaborating closely with the embedded hardware team and V&V team to support and validate code development and integration
  • Investigating technical issues, documenting findings, and communicating them clearly to relevant teams
  • Performing root cause analysis to identify and resolve software issues
  • Contributing to software architecture design and implementation for embedded systems
  • Ensuring code quality through rigorous testing and adherence to coding standards

YOUR PROFILE

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded software development, mandatory in medical devices
  • Strong programming skills in C (mandatory) and Python (mandatory)
  • Experience with Linux OS and Yocto Linux build system (mandatory)
  • Familiarity with NRF microcontrollers and GIT version control
  • Knowledge of embedded systems architecture and design principles
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially in technical environments
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
