Enterprise CIS Security operational requirement authority (E-ORA)


  • Working Location:Brussels, Belgium

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:


Essential Qualifications/Experience:

· Knowledge and multiyear experience in organization, management and support of various (international) operations, activities, units and projects related to defense, security, electronics and communications, in the national and NATO environments
· Multi-year experience in the definition of Operational Requirements on behalf of higher authorities, for the development of capability packages and the development of new technological-driven capabilities
· Experience in representing senior requirement owner role within set capability development model and related processes
· Previous experience within NATO dealing with capability package implementation and standards and procurement process within NATO
· Deep knowledge of procurement issues, including training, CONOPS, key management
· Experience in leading staff work on large and complex projects or responsible for significant


DUTIES/ROLE

  • Provide SME on security (functional or non-functional) requirement definition stemming from Business requirement
  • Write or Support the definition of Enterprise Operational al requirements statement focussed on Cybersecurity
  • Monitor and contribute to the Enterprise Operational Requirements in support of NATO Enterprise
  • Provide Enterprise interface for Cyberspace Security to NATO bodies (NOS, NPAG, NPMA)
  • Provide support to on various CIS related activities, as directed by the Head of Enterprise Security Branch
  • Ensure coherence of operational requirements between cyberspace Security related projects and all other cyberspace related projects of Enterprise interests
  • Embed Enterprise senior requirement owner role within the new capability development model
  • Utilize information and requirements gathered from policy Documents and technical assessments and identify operational requirements with regards to the CIO Mandate
  • Liaise with NATO Strategic Commands on Enterprise-level Operational Requirements and technical issues required to effectively protect NATO CIS and Information
  • Identify the CIO role in the CMA/CMF framework
  • Monitor and influence implementation programs to verify Enterprise requirements inclusion and fulfilment
  • Develop recommendations for the adoption of services and capabilities that best fit the operational requirements for the Enterprise in terms of CIS Security
  • Monitor the latest technological progresses in terms of CIS Security to provide the latest SME advices regarding E-ORA
  • Closely coordinate across the Enterprise including NCIA) to ensure a unified approach to Cyberspace capabilities and related lifecycle management
  • Monitor the operational impact of CP cancellations/amendments to current and future Alliance Operations and Missions
  • Other related tasks may be assigned as required
