At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a professional Environmental and Data Analyst to join our UniQue Brussels team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers in the public sector and you will be responsible for developing new business by identifying profitable opportunities, maintaining your client portfolio by building strong, long-lasting relationships, and monitoring the progress of the projects, with the aim to provide excellent client service and added value services.

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Conduct comprehensive research on greenhouse gas emission calculation as well as generative contract assistance involving sensitive data.
• Effectively engage and communicate with internal and external technical and managerial stakeholders, ensuring clear and concisecommunication to foster collaboration and understanding.
• Represent the internal department across diverse cross functional entities, facilitating seamless collaboration and coordination for integrated organizational objectives.
• Internal department representation across different cross functional entities
• Participate in strategic decision-making processes, providing valuable insights and analysis to inform key organizational decisions.
• Apply both basic and advanced data analysis techniques to derive meaningful insights, contributing to informed data-driven decision-making
• Perform modeling and simulations through proficient programming, leveraging technical skills to develop and implementeffective models.
• Create compelling visualizations and presentations using tools such as Power BI Dashboards and PowerPoint, ensuring the effective communication of complex information.
• Apply expertise in data science, machine learning, and large language models to drive innovation and efficiency in project outcomes.
• Collaborate in the development of strategic organizational goals, drawing upon research findings to ensure alignment with datadriven insights and industry best practices.

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Complete higher education in Data Science or equivalent technical education
• Proven track record of navigating complex multi-stakeholder and multi-disciplinary projects, showcasing adeptness in fostering collaboration and synergy among diverse teams to achieve common objectives.
• Demonstrated experience in international organizational settings, exhibiting a nuanced understanding of organizational complexity and adept management of diverse stakeholders to ensure effective project outcomes.
• Experience in writing understandable, easily traceable, well organized and reproducible code that aligns with industry best practices.
• Experience in sustainability/energy consumption calculation related projects or equivalent, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of the intricate facets of these initiatives and their impact on organizational practices.
• Experience in knowledge-management, highlighting the ability to efficiently capture, organize, and disseminate information within the organization to enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with the distinctive challenges inherent in international security organizations.
• Knowledge in Data Privacy / Data Protection principles, coupled with a proven ability to navigate and address associated challenges within a dynamic working environment.
• Keen awareness of ethical challenges inherent in the implementation of environmental initiatives, coupled with a commitment to ensuring that initiatives align with the highest ethical standards.
• Proficient in visual communication design, with an eye for creating compelling and effective visual representations that enhance communication and understanding.
• Comfortable and adept at constructing and delivering articulate presentations
• Familiarity with handling energy-related data within the context of a large organization, showcasing an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities presented by managing substantial datasets.
• Well-versed in the following tools: Python, R, Power BI, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint.
• Demonstrated expertise in the application of advanced machine learning techniques, including Machine Learning algorithms, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing, showcasing a deep understanding of their practical applications
• Possess advanced skills in data analysis and statistics, with a proven ability to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Language Proficiency: Institution’s two official languages are English and French. The work of this post is mainly conducted in English, therefore fluency in that language is essential and working knowledge of French is desirable
