Function

We’re currently looking for a consultant to join our client’s team as an Epic Owner, dedicated to enhancing communication processes for our customers. If you’re passionate about elevating customer interactions and driven to optimize our communication methods, then this role is perfect for you. As an Epic Owner, you’ll play a crucial role in realizing our client’s roadmap following the SAFe Agile methodology.

You’ll become a part of the Customer Communication team within the innovative ART Digital Communication. The department comprises approximately 200 talented colleagues, representing a diverse blend of experience and fresh perspectives. You’ll join a dynamic, high-achieving team with enthusiastic colleagues who support and challenge one another, ensuring you’re never alone on your journey.

Your Responsibilities

As an Epic Owner, your primary responsibility is to guide and facilitate various Epics designed to enhance the ultimate customer experience when they receive digital or analog messages from our client. This includes messages on a Mobile landing page, push notifications, SMS, actions to be performed in our digital customer applications, and more. Your contributions to modifying or expanding these communication channels will play a pivotal role in achieving specific and overarching objectives.

Your ultimate goal as an Epic Owner is to realize the business value of the Epics under your supervision. You’ll oversee large and complex matters, support the Product Manager and Product Owner in prioritizing Epic-related features, and act as the driving force behind Epic implementation. You’ll guide your Epics through various phases in the process, culminating in their transfer to the standing organization.

Before implementation, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders, Product Owners, and Agile/DevOps teams to define the Epic, describe potential benefits, estimate costs, and identify business impact. During execution, you’ll be the linchpin, connecting the dots, managing various aspects, and helping the execution teams with scoping and dependencies.
