The PositionToyota Material Handling Europe ranks in the top 1% of the EcoVadis supply chain sustainability rating, among over 100,000 B2B suppliers. This year our board approved to reduce our net emissions to zero by 2040 to fight climate change. To put these targets into action we are now expanding our sustainability team, to support the development and implementation of equally ambitious targets for other environmental, social and governance (ESG) priorities, identified through dialogue with customers, suppliers, employees, NGOs, and other stakeholders.In your role as an ESG information coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the team and colleagues across Europe in sustainability questions. You will provide operational support to our sustainability champions and internal stakeholders, using the best suited internal platforms.This is a possibility for you as a recent graduate with an interest in creating a more sustainable world to gain your first experience in sustainability, and to develop yourself as a ESG information expert. You will also get the opportunity to spend 10% of your time towards achieving an online certificate in corporate sustainability, supported by Toyota Material Handling Europe if you complete your first six months.Your Responsibilities
  • Support the creation of our 2023 sustainability report and updating the sustainability pages on our website.
  • Update our intranet pages on sustainability, supporting colleagues across Europe with answers to the most frequently asked sustainability questions from customers, regulators, employees, and other stakeholders
  • Initiate and drive the process to provide maximum possible transparency of ESG documents
  • Coordinate our growing community of sustainability champions across all our local entities and business functions.
  • Create and maintain digital tools where colleagues can find standardised answers to ESG questions from stakeholders
  • Administration such as invites to sustainability updates and meetings & access rights to relevant portals
  • Responsible for SD departmental mail inbox, team calendar, and organise SD F2F team meetings
Your profile
  • Passionate about supporting others in making a difference towards a more sustainable industry
  • Personal resilience, you enjoy overcoming complex problems with practical solutions
  • Curious and eager to learn and develop
  • Working knowledge of TEAMS, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel
  • Extra-curricular experience in leading others in youth-movement or equivalent is a plus
  • Recently acquired Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sustainability EHS or equivalent
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English, knowledge of other European languages is a bonus
