To support our ambitious objectives, we are now looking for an EU Public Affairs Intern (m/f/d) in Brussels starting October - December 2021 supporting us for min. of 5 months.

Your tasks - Paint the world green

  • Monitor political & legislative developments as well as their coverage across traditional & social media
  • Prepare research and briefing notes on national and international issues and developments
  • Assist with drafting materials such as policy positions, consultation feedbacks, opinion articles etc
  • Attend external events such as parliamentary debates or stakeholder meetings and report on them
  • Support the coordination and organisation of meetings, presentations, external events and other outreach activities
  • Support the EU wide PA activities of FlixMobility

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

  • Previous experience in European public affairs either in the EU institutions or around them in consulting, an industry association or a corporate representation office
  • Knowledge of the European decision-making process and ideally some understanding of transport / mobility issues
  • Excellent drafting as well as verbal presentation and communication skills in English required; full professional proficiency in another major European language and in particular French is a plus
