Facility Manager

Your Role

The Facility Manager is responsible for the local maintenance plan and ensures the plan is in line with expectations and the maintenance policies. You ensure maintenance procedures are effective and efficient, you are responsible for planning and monitoring of all maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and expansion activities of current and new facilities and ensure the activities are in line with corporate and local plans. Besides this, you are responsible for the daily coordination with a variety of third-party vendors ensuring the adherence to contracted SLA’s and you manage the operations budget and expenditures. You coordinate the maintenance and repairs of buildings and equipment and ensure that activities are executed within the agreed budget and in accordance with the quality standards and agreed SLA including all rules and regulation with respect to Health & Safety.

What you’ll need

• Certificate as qualified electrician
• Advanced and specialized technical expertise
• 5 years of Data Center Engineering/Operations Experience
• Experience as a technician in an electrical or industrious environment
• Strong technical background in electrical and cooling systems is pre-requisite
• Fluent in English, both written and orally (at least Advanced Certificate), and local language
• Well balanced personality that can work well under pressure and can handle escalations calmly and competently
• Can work independently, shows initiative and proactivity
• High personal standards and goal oriented
• Strong sense of urgency and excellent organizational skills across multiple technology disciplines.
• Ability to work precisely and follow up on tasks
