We are looking for our new facility manager !

Your Role

Join our team as a Facility (Maintenance) Manager for our office and warehouse in Beringen. You’ll ensure the smooth operation of our facilities, maintaining technical, legal, and QSHE compliance. Create a problem-free and safe environment for employees. While the site is still under construction, you will be based at our nearby offices in Tessenderlo or Geel, working on facility projects until the site is finalized.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support facility technicians and coordinators, collaborating with other facility managers.
  • Oversee both soft and hard services, with a focus on hard services.
  • Ensure quality, safety, health, and environmental standards for building systems (mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, winter services, sustainability, infrastructure, security, etc.).
  • Address emergency situations and urgent facility issues 24/7.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through KPIs, benchmarking, SLAs, and best practices.
  • Develop and update QSHE-compliant procedures, guidelines, and work instructions.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, deliver presentations and status reports on facility projects.
  • Contribute to business success through timely, efficient, cost-effective procurement solutions.
  • Act as the main point of contact for external services, overseeing suppliers and contractors.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Technical Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (engineering, electro mechanics, automation, etc.).
  • 5+ years of hands-on/technical experience in a warehouse, industrial, or production environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge in areas such as electricity/electronics, HVAC techniques, industrial engineering, machine maintenance, measurement and control technology, automation, etc.
  • Analytical, logical, and numerate approach.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and make decisions under pressure.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills at all levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch.
