In order to strengthen our local Benelux team, we are looking for several Field Service Technicians.Position Summary And Main Responsiblities
  • The Field Service Technician is the front-line representative and the backbone of an extensive support network of personnel and assets worldwide
  • He provides repair, installation, relocation, troubleshooting, customer education and general support for Bobst machinery installed at customer facilities throughout the Benelux area
  • He works closely together with the local technical support team and/or with the related teams in the production facilities in Switzerland and/or France
  • He completes and submits timesheets within the expected timeframe
  • He submits clearly written, accurate and complete job, installation and technical reports
Education and Languages
  • Mandatory technical school graduate in mechanics (with basic knowledge of electricity), preferably maintenance oriented
  • Computer literacy is highly valued
  • Speak and write fluently in Dutch (= mandatory) and English (= company language)
Competencies, Skills And Personal Attributes
  • Have several years of professional experience in maintenance
  • Ideally have professional experience in field service
  • Have mechanical and basic electrical problem solving skills in the area of repair and maintenance
  • Have a good technical understanding and hands-on attitude
  • Work carefully, with attention to detail and solution-oriented
  • Being able to work both independently as in a team
  • Feeling comfortable using Office 365
  • Live centrally in the Benelux area and willing to travel throughout the region (with hotel stay if required)
