Vinçotte is currently looking for a Finance Business Partner.

Your role

The Finance team features a team of 25 members and is responsible for several key activities within Vinçotte, amongst which planning, budgeting and forecasting; business intelligence and performance management; controlling and business reporting; accounting, consolidation and statutory reporting; tax management; working capital management, treasury management and debt collection.

As a Finance Business Partner, your responsibilities include:

• Active involvement in monitoring the performance of a Business Unit and advising its leadership team
• Critical thinking with the Business Unit leadership and initiate / support decisions
• Preparation of management reporting and production of ad-hoc analyses
• Driving the budgeting and forecasting process for the Business Unit
• Ownership of special projects for the Business unit or the Executive Committee
• Contribution to Vinçotte transformation as a member of the change agent community

Profile

Education: University degree (bare minimum) - Master’s degree from a reputable institution (Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering).

Experience:Between 5-10 years of relevant experience in results-driven environments, of which:

• Minimum 2 years as Business Controller in industry (either established corporations or fast-growing companies)
• Experience in consulting is a strong asset (e.g. big four firm, strategy house or specialized boutique)
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is a must – Experience in BI tools is a strong asset

Languages: Fluency in French, Dutch & English

• Intellectual horsepower, solid business acumen, strong sense of leadership and influence, which allows you to build strong partnerships with your business colleagues
• Excellent people skills: strong communication skills and the ability to adjust your communication to your audience. Patience when introducing the organization to new finance principles and guide them through change.
• Excellent analytical & quantitative skills, which enable you to manage the big picture and details simultaneously & accurately
• A demonstrated positive attitude: hands-on, problem-solving, can-do, flexible, accountable
• A strong work ethic: disciplined, autonomous, with a strong sense of ownership and discretion
• A result driven mindset: drive & energy to perform and deliver excellent results
