We are looking for a Financial Analyst (Junior-Medior) who can help with the Financial & Contractual follow-up Projects & Bid.
What you’ll do:
- For Bid:
- Elaborate cost price calculations together with Bid Manager,
- Checking suppliers’ offers (credit checks, commercial conditions, period of validity,...)
- Evaluation of all tender/contract documents (knowledge of public procurement is a big plus)
- Compilation of file and administrative clauses of offers for project/service and product business,
- Preparation, elaboration and presentation of internal approval process up to mother house in Germany.
- For projects:
- Checking cost and price calculations and entering them into the accounting systems (e.g. SAP),
- Ensure correct booking of order entry, invoicing of customer contracts and follow-up of general project-related orders,
- Together with the Project Manager achieving and optimising the foreseen financial results with the necessary professional knowledge (e.g. project gross profit, cash flow, assets),
- Together with the Project Manager, identify, evaluate and calculate risks and opportunities, as well as minimise non-conformance costs,
- Preparing and participating in commercial project status meetings with all relevant stakeholders,
- Preparation of commercial documentation and commercial project data (e.g. Forecast, interim calculations ’MIKA’, cash flow) for regular project status meetings,
- Follow-up of bank guarantees, open receivables & payables related to the project,
- Set up, manage and report on Temporary Partnerships,
- Monitor internal procedures and approval levels,
- Ensure communication of relevant commercial contractual obligations/conditions to the relevant project team members,
- Act as commercial SPOCS to the end client.
Required Skills:
- You have a Bachelor or Master degree in an Economic/Financial field,
- You have relevant work experience in a financial environment of a complex organisation,
- you have knowledge as a SAP user
- Previous experience with tender documents and government contracts is a plus,
- You have a good knowledge of Excel,
- You are fluent in Dutch, French and English,
- You have good communication skills, are a team player, analytical with an eye for detail and have the right entrepreneurial mentality,
- You are proactive, independent and eager to learn,
- you do not have a 9 to 5 mindset, with an eye for deadlines (cf. submission deadlines in public procurement).
1 year contract with a possibility leading to permanent employment.
