A reputable leading international company active in the Banking sector is currently looking to hire a Financial Crime Sanctions Specialist to join their offices in Brussels.

Thanks to your experience in finance and in business, you will be the perfect addition to the company.

Your main responsibilities as the new Financial Crime Sanctions Specialist will include:

  • Providing advice to the Front Office on Financial Crime Matters
  • Assisting the MLRO to investigate and identify potential breaches in rules and regulations and report to the regulators
  • Assisting in following up AML/terrorism/Fraud stipulations and recommendations
  • Assisting EMEA training Managers in developing training material
  • Advising the business on how to comply with law, rules and regulations

Your profile:

  • You have a Master’s degree (in Law is a plus)
  • You have an initial experience in Financial Crime and sanctions
  • You are fluent in English and you have a good knowledge of French and/or Dutch

Your strengths:

  • You have strong analytical and numeracy skills
  • You have the ability to work under pressure
  • You are attentive to detail
  • You are self-motivated and risk aware
