The goal is to produce effective reports using financial systems as well as excel. The role also includes managing the internal control process.
This person will act as a lead for financial reporting and internal control monitoring. However the key responsibilities for this position are transformative in nature and will follow the needs of the site.

    jouw aanbod

    • we are looking for a candidate who has a proven track record of process improvement & simplification and a solid knowledge of financial systems/tools
    • education: master or bachelor with focus in finance/accounting and 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting
    • system minded: preferable experience with excel, sap (affinity with tm1, smartview and/or essbase is a plus)
    • mindset: accurate, pro-active, team player, stress-resistant, continuous improvement, hands on and can-do attitude, self-starter with strong drive and enthusiasm
    • communication & collaboration skills: good communication and networking skills (transversal collaboration), ability to synthesize and explain complex topics to non-experts, capacity to coordinate several activities and stakeholders
    • language: dutch & english is must, french is nice to have
    • biotech or pharmaceutical industry work experience is a plus

    hoofdverantwoordelijkheden

    • this includes managing the reporting process, performing actuals & budget reporting, consolidation of commentary & variances, running ad-hoc analysis & reports.
    • enforce good, standardized use of financial systems (hfm, essbase, smartview, sap, tm1)
    • prepare industrial dashboard (tdb / p&l) analyses.
    • support compilation of commentary for submissions
    • communicate clearly at different levels within the organization both verbally and in writing
    • this position will also be heavily involved in close activities with regards to accruals and allocations
    • the successful candidate will support the business controllers in performing more in depth expense analysis

    ons aanbod

    freelance/ consultancy project to start asap for 3 months

    home office is possible for 1-2 days/week.
