We are currently looking for a Java developer to join our teams working in an air traffic management environment. You will be at the center for the European airspace management with broad opportunities to keep finetuning your development skills, but also to learn more about airspace traffic management business.
  • You are responsible for the validation of the different baselines of the future air traffic and security management products delivered by several Agile development teams.
  • You verify if these baselines communicate correctly with each other and are according to the specifications provided by the business product owners.
  • You automate your tests as much as possible in order to be able to replay them regularly.
  • Your input will be mainly on functional level, however also technical documentation of each product requires your input.
  • You’ll get the chance to step into a new project where you will be creating a top notch application which manages the air traffic in Europe and beyond.
  • You are the last validation step before handing over the product to the operations for final user acceptance.
  • You can imagine it will be complex and challenging, but that’s your ‘energizer’.
  • You will be part of a team of functional analysists, developers and an agile project leader/scrum master.
  • You work on technical design according to the principle of pair-programming and test-driven development.
  • As you are a real "software craftsman", you write qualitative, easy to read code and refactor where necessary. You guarantee quality through test drive development and continuous learning. Hands-on design and software development based on the functional analysis, ensuring good integration with external applications.

Profile
  • You are a passionate full stack developer with demonstrable professional experience (min. 5 years) with analysis, design, implementation and delivery of applications.
  • You have a good experience in Javascript (the focus will be on Front-end) and Java + React Knowledge.
  • Following technologies/ experiences are nice to have: Linux/Unix, Kubernetes/openshift, CSS + HTML.
  • You will work in English speaking environment, so you can fluently speak and write in English.
