About the role:

As a Full Stack Engineer at BiometrIQ, you will work closely with our Development Lead to build a robust framework that is ready for rapid expansion into other countries and a growing user base.

You will play a crucial role in our transition from an early-stage startup to an established company. You will touch every corner of our products but will be especially valued for your DevOps expertise.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable software solutions
• Collaborate with the team to improve architecture and implement best practices
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new features
• Optimize the performance and stability of our systems
• Participate in code reviews and share knowledge within the team

Requirements:

• Several years of experience as a full stack developer, preferably in a SaaS environment
• Strong skills in Python and MySQL
• Experience with DevOps and database management
• Familiarity with Google Cloud (AppEngine, Storage, Run, Cloud Tasks, etc.) is a plus
• Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a significant advantage
• A thoughtful approach to building products, always keeping the end user in mind
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive in suggesting and implementing improvements while distinguishing between priorities

Bonus Points:

• Affinity or interest in health and/or the healthcare sector
• Experience with Flask
• Knowledge of design patterns and best practices
• Experience scaling applications

Double Bonus Points:

• Experience with Flutter and/or Odoo development
