We’re looking for a Functional Analyst to join our client’s IT organization. This role focuses on translating user requirements into functional solutions, ensuring smooth integration, development, and operational support of business applications. You’ll act as a critical link between users, technical teams, and external partners.

Responsibilities

As a Functional Analyst, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with users and stakeholders to define functional requirements and translating them into clear specifications and flowcharts.
  • Advising on best practices to balance process efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Assisting developers and coordinating with external software vendors during the implementation phase.
  • Preparing and executing functional integration tests and conducting first-line evaluations.
  • Planning and managing testing and deployments during scheduled production weekends.
  • Drafting and maintaining documentation for use by IT colleagues and end users.
  • Organizing user training and providing functional application support.
  • Managing user access and application security parameters.
You will also support daily IT Analysis:

  • Troubleshooting functional and technical incidents and offering structural resolutions.
  • Ensuring continuity and availability of systems through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
  • Executing and maintaining recurring batch processes such as fiscal attestations and parameterizations.
The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of both business processes and IT solutions.
  • Experience with functional analysis, software testing, and user support.
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and coordinating implementations.
  • Knowledge of software development tools and at least one programming language or database.
Other Requirements:

  • Language Requirement: proficiency in Dutch, with a good knowledge of English and French.
  • Telework: 3-4 days a week after training.
