Job Purpose

The Graphic Designer is responsible for designing and coordinating graphical projects for various industries (Automotive, Marine, Painting, Mining, Food ...) in line with Sales & Marketing strategies and tactics. The role works closely together with several international stakeholders in the Marketing & Communication Team and collaborates with oher graphic designers.

Essential Duties

• Develop marketing collateral from concept through production in close collaboration with stakeholders for a wide variety of industries, applications and personas
• Translate creative briefs into graphic designs and concepts that match campaign objectives
• Design a wide variety of graphical deliverables such as catalogues, brochures, advertisements, POS material, flyers, product packaging, labels, logo’s, info graphics, presentations, campaign images, web banners and more
• Create animations and edit videos to bring across messages in different formats for a variety of channels/media
• Apply a strong focus on the "WIFFM" (what’s in it for me) for every single created piece
• Respect Graco’s branding and stick to templates. Serve as a gatekeeper and be responsible for every design delivered
• Manage several projects simultaneously ensuring qualitative and timely delivery
• Stay pro-actively up to date on the latest graphic, printing and animations trends to ensure "on-trend" deliverables

Position Requirements

• +5 year of experience in graphical design and DTP
• Bachelor degree in graphic design, a related field or equivalent in experience
• Strong experience in working with Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro ...) enabling print and digital deliverables of high quality
• Deep understanding of printing techniques and a good knowledge of Apple (iMac)
• Full fluency in English, spoken and written

This is a position where you need to be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and ever changing international environment. You are a team player with excellent communication skills who enjoys collaborating with others, but also has the ability to manage projects individually and with minimal direction. You have a creative mindset with an eye for detail.
