We are looking for a Group Consolidation Managerfor Nipro Europe Group Companies which is our management holding company providing services to our various business units.

About the Role

As The Group Consolidation Manager, you ensure and continuously improve the quality of the Nipro Europe Group Companies consolidated financial/matrix reporting. The consolidation perimeter comprises approximately 45 entities in about 35 countries spread over Africa, CIS, Europe, India and USA. You are a trusted senior manager with a solid consolidation experience able to deal with change and accommodate the expansion of the organization. In this role you will be a member of the Finance team and report into the CFO of NEGC.

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor, manage, maintain and continuously enhance the consolidation system and process for the Group (NEGC), compliant with applicable legislation, group standards and BGAAP/ IFRS / (JGAAP). This relates to both the legal consolidation and the management information consolidation.
  • Responsible to produce high-quality financial accounts and annual (consolidated/matrix) reports for the Group and Sub-consolidations of subsidiary companies.
  • Take ownership of the preparation and filing of statutory annual reports for the Belgian holding companies.
  • Support implementation and administration, development and improvement of SAP Group Reporting Cloud (NEGC’s new consolidation tool) alongside training users on best practices & use of the system.
  • Monitor, manage and ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial statement data loads into the corporate consolidation system.
  • Prepare, analyze and present periodical financial reports and information to key stakeholders.
  • Pro-actively implement continuous improvements in the consolidation/financial reporting process and support standardization of the general finance processes & systems to achieve best practice. You thereby provide technical accounting guidance to the key stakeholders on matters impacting consolidation.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external auditors on topics related to the consolidation system & processes.
  • Support NEGC & BU heads of finance on a variety of ad-hoc projects impacting consolidation (e.g. mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, changes in reporting needs …).
  • You perform all tasks in accordance with ISO quality and JSOX requirements, whilst taking Nipro values into account.

What You’ll Need

  • You obtained a Bachelors or a Masters degree in a relevant field (Economics, Finance & Accounting, …) and you have at least 3 years of relevant consolidation management experience in a multinational group.
  • You have a strong process mindset and enjoy thinking of and implementing improvements.
  • You are a good communicator who resonates well with the ‘strict but fair’ principle.
  • You have strong working knowledge and experience of Excel / PowerPoint / SAP.
  • You have strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
  • You are hands-on and stress resistant.
  • You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where pro-activity is required.
  • You are motivated by complex & challenging professional matters.
  • You have solid planning and time management skills.
  • Excellent command in English is required, knowledge of Dutch or French is preferred; any other languages are a plus.
