The opportunityAs one of the leading trade show organisers and venue operators in Europe, Easyfairs organises 200 events in 14 countries. Easyfairs is a pan-European company, organised into 5 regional hubs: Belgium, the Netherlands, Nordics, DACH and UK & Global. Our headquarters are in Brussels, and we have 20 offices in Europe employing 750 talented individuals.Easyfairs has huge growth plans that have shaped the company’s trajectory from its launch in 2004 to a global top 20 exhibition company. To support the Group’s development, we are delighted to be creating an exciting and crucial new role for an ambitious and experienced commercial individual.Key responsibilities:The Group Head of Sales Excellence is on a mission to drive growth and improvements across the Group.To succeed in this mission, they will be responsible for:
  • Providing guidance to regional sales teams, with a focus on key sales skills, techniques and strategies across all sales teams to allow them to perform to their maximum potential (develop a structured training programme for newcomers and existing staff, ensure consistency in processes and tools, ensure the optimal functioning and use of sales dashboards by all Regions).
  • Building and managing an international network of agents performing across multiple high priority events.
  • Ensuring high rebooking rates across the Group.
  • Assessing sales resources organisation.
  • Further developing the existing sales culture, evaluating sales contests and analysing commission schemes and incentives.
  • Monitoring sales through targets, dashboards, KPIs, revenue gaps, monthly sales status.
  • Improving and implementing sales systems and processes.
  • Being the single point of contact for the technology team on all sales tools.
Based in Brussels, the role will be central for the Group and will require collaboration with HQ, Heads of Regions, Regional Management teams, Heads of Sales, Regional Heads of Sales Excellence and Heads of Finance.Is this you?
  • Keen interest in events sector.
  • Significant experience in commercial roles, at least five years in a high-level commercial role, leading and developing sales teams and a background of continuous improvement.
  • University degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong team management skills.
  • Good communicator and key team player.
  • Ambitious and driven individual who takes pride in owning a project and strives for the best outcome and high performance at all times.
  • KPI driven, viewing KPI’s and targets as an opportunity to exceed performance.
  • Big picture thinking, adaptability and resilience – you will have an input into the shape our growth strategy.
  • Ability and interest in performing research to identify new business opportunities and keep up to date with the latest trends and news.
  • Proficient in English.
Easyfairs organises and hosts events, bringing communities together to visit the future.We organise 200 events in 14 countries (Algeria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom) and manage eight event venues in Belgium, the Netherlands and Sweden (Antwerp, Ghent, Mechelen-Brussels North, Namur, Gorinchem, Hardenberg, Malmö and Stockholm).We are passionate about “easifying” the life of our customers and increasing the return on investment and return on time for professional communities through our all-in formulas, advanced technology and customer-centric approach.
