About Our Client

Job Description

In this role, you’ll report to the Group Head of Finance Operations for the merchants’ services business line.Your responsibilities will be the following:

  • You will manage the daily activities of local teams in Belgium and collaborate with the Finance teams responsible for the subsidiaries in the Czech Republic, Sweden, the Netherlands, France, Japan, etc
  • You will work together with your colleagues of Controlling, Treasury, Intermediation Financial Services and Operations to complete the monthly closing and reporting activities
  • You will be responsible for the design and set-up of new procedures and policies
  • Managing a team of 50 people
  • interaction with other finance & accounting departement (consolidation, controlling...)

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate should demonstrate:

  • A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or related fields
  • Around 10 years’ experience in Finance - Ideally in Audit and/or Accounting
  • Strong people management skills
  • Digital mindset
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Experience working in matrix organizations
  • Fluent in English, French or Dutch language is a plus
