Client Details

Details about the client: Our client is a European company who support organisations in different public services sectors. They are currently looking for a Head of Accountant to strengthen their team in Brussels.

Description


Your responsibilities - Head of Accounting:

  • Run effectively the daily, monthly and annual finance operations
  • Responsible of statutory and regulatory financial requirements and ensure the appropriate level of awareness.
  • Manage the monthly closing processes and ensure reporting of financials.
  • Preparation of VAT and tax returns.
  • Responsible for financial accounting policies and controls
  • Review of financial processes and controls in order to improve compliance and efficiency
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations
  • Communicate about balance sheet risks and opportunities
  • Support in contract profitability analysis
  • Support for budget
  • Management of internal and external audits
  • Management and coaching of the accounting team

Profiles


Your profile - Head of Accounting:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • You speak English and French. Dutch is an asset
