Functie

Your responsabilities as Head of Supply Chain & Procurement:

• ​Outline a clear roadmap to bring the function from “as is” to “to be” within 12 months, in line with the new strategy.
• ​Develop sourcing program delivering 33% higher impact
• Establish a “Preferred Supplier Program”, thereby rationalizing the number of suppliers
• ​Maximize utilization of ISS Group’s global suppliers
• ​Supplier assurance and auditing
• ​Lead on digital procurement initiatives
• ​Act as business partner to ISS’ key account teams
• ​Rigorous management of department budgets
• Secure free cash flow improvement program driven via supplier payment term optimizations
• Support the bidding engine and mobilize/transition supply chains for new customers
• Ensure proper vetting, contracting, onboarding, performance management and auditing of our critical suppliers
• Promote the collaboration with our closest supplier partners so these become ISS’ “extended arm”, delivering meaningful service products and operational efficiencies to ISS’ key account customers, together with and on behalf of ISS

Profiel

What are we looking for in our new Head of Supply Chain & Procurement?

• University / Post Graduate (Masters Degree)
• General Experience Wide and deep experience providing expert competence (Over 10 years to 15 years )
• Managerial Experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short / medium timescales within the overall policy framework. (Over 6 years to 10 years)
• Multilingualism (Dutch - French - English)
• Transformative leader. Thinks “step change” rather than incremental improvements
• Strong business acumen combined with solid collaboration- and senior stakeholder influencing skills
• Proactive and impactful professional naturally securing necessary respect from business leaders
• “Takes mandate” rather than “talks about” mandate. “Leans out”, and assumes ambitious goals with flair
• Meets people at eye-level in a pragmatic way, rather than hiding behind policies, procedures and emails
• Leads the ISS Way with a focus on development, motivation and well-being of the team
• Demonstrates energy, persistence and determination
• Demonstrated strong “matrix player” in a multinational company’s context
