Heavy Lifting Supervisor
For a project in Antwerp we are looking for a Supervisor Heavylifting.
The main duties and responsibilities are the following:
  • Prior to the start of works, check the vendor’s material and technical documentation delivery schedule, verifying that the same is in line with Construction schedules and contractual commitments;
  • Prior to the start of works, to control and approve the Method Statements submitted by suppliers, ensuring their correct application on the field;
  • To check that the schedule is updated and to promote action to recover any delay;
  • To perform inspections and sign the necessary certificates as per Site Inspection Test Plans;
  • To check that the equipment and manpower employed by suppliers are adequate and that the works performed by suppliers conform to design documents, Safety regulations, and to the Quality level fixed by the same;
  • To prepare the non-conformity register for each supplier and co-ordinate nonconformity resolution;
  • To detect any design errors, and where possible rectify the same or request the DIE to make the necessary changes;
  • To check suppliers’ work progress status sheets and sign the same for approval;
  • To manage vendor specialists;
  • To assist SAM in defining new prices, in preparing amendments to contract and in analyzing and discussing claims.
