Ryanair DAC are currently recruiting for a HR Manager to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group based in Belgium

This is a unique opportunity to join Europe’s largest airline with responsibility for all HR issues relating to Belgian based employees.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of HR based in Dublin and ideally should have experience dealing with Belgian payroll and labour law.

Given the nature of the role this will an initial training period in Dublin and frequent travel.

Duties include:

  • Oversight of the day to day HR management of crews operating in Belgium including HR paperwork, employee relations, payroll and legal cases
  • Management of Industrial Relations
  • Overseeing disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Working closely with management to resolve HR issues and formulate the HR strategy for Belgium
  • Management reporting
  • Answering queries from crew and pilots


Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience of Belgian HR including an in-dept knowledge of social insurance application and calculation of same
  • Experience dealing with external Payroll providers in Belgium
  • Experience dealing with best practice HR policies under Belgian Employment Law
  • Experience in drafting contracts, internal regulations, company handbooks etc
  • Experience dealing with Work’s Council and Health and Safety committees preferable
  • Self-Starter, highly motivated with ability to deliver accurate work under tight deadlines
  • Proven track record of operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills as well as fluency in French
  • Relevant Degree
