As HR Officer, you’re responsible to prepare, execute and control payroll administration for Shared Logistics employees in order to assure timely and correct payment of cash remuneration. You drive HR projects related to Compensation and Benefits, Learning and development and Talent Management.
The tasks of an HR Officer:
Compensation & benefits:
- Implement daily & complex payroll constructions and adapt global policies to local circumstances. Payroll for complex and/or special cases: expats abroad, RCSF and above. Stay aligned with ever changing local legislation and make sure payroll calculations are fully compliant with corporate and legal requirements.
- Responsible for time attendance/absence management. Facilitate local "leave" schemes and provide advice to management and employees
- Administrative and organizational point of contact for Expats, relocation, mobility and immigration and ensure local legislation is respected. Acts as link between the corporate mobility team, local HR and host entities making sure all arrangements are compliant with corporate and local legal guidelines.
- Identify, review and implement new social security legislation related to payroll and C&B matters.
- Tackle issues with employees and ensure correct assistance from external support partners (tax and legal advisors, payroll agency, insurance companies, government).
- Administrative follow-up and communication of promotions, demotions, new hires, transfers (COTRA’s, local and international), prepare and attend panels and follow-up on individual development plan actions.
- Fully accountable for employee data. Make sure the data is up to date and available for all different stakeholders taking into account GDPR guidelines.
- Monitor the C&B processes (both year end and regular processes) related to merit increases, bonus calculations, company cars, insurances and all pay outs compliant with contractual stipulations during employment. Provide internal C&B expertise to the HR Business Partner and HR Director. Follow up on BE labor legislation and highlight risks and opportunities. Attend regional C&B COE calls, facilitate and safeguard regional and global C&B processes. Own and drive the execution of the flex benefits plan and manage the tool facilitating it.
Learning & Develoment
- Plan, manage and ensure training needs. Contact with Cevora and training institutes. Manage My Talent World and corporate training programs
- Develop and own the induction framework
Reporting
- Provide on a regular bases and in a timely matter the core KPI’s related to HR areas (C&B, L&D and Talent)
- Manage data, target achievements, compliance with DHL HR policies, processes and procedures. Facilitate relations between internal HR services across all regions. Answer official queries of Belgian Regulatory bodies. Own Role Profile database and Organizational charts and facilitate regular reviews
Talent
- Attend jobfairs together with HRBP’s and represent the employer brand, own and drive all preparations and alignment with other DHL BU’s

Requirements for the job:
- Proven experience with working in a complex matrix organization
- Excellent knowledge of Belgian Social Security regulation and knowledge of benefits administration (Insurances, meal vouchers, etc...)
- Experienced e-BLOX and MS Office user
- Excellent analytical, communication and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated experience with Senior Stakeholder management
- Able to act as a trustfull partner
- Team player, initiative, proactiveness, sense of responsibility
- Planning and organizing, discretion and accuracy.
