Make your mark for patients

We are looking for a motivated HVAC & Black Utilities Delivery Project Engineer able to work in highly dynamic environment to join us in our Global Engineering & FacilitiesDelivery team.

About The Role

As Utilities Delivery Project Engineer, you will ensure high expertise in HVAC and utilities projects among Engineering Utilities Cluster and according to the Global Engineering methodology. You will be responsible for deploying mainly HVAC and part of Utilities projects according to the strategy & roadmap developed with Global Subject Matter Expert, sponsors and Users but also ensuring the adherence to cGxP and EHS regulations and guidelines corresponding to related system. In addition, you’ll source new technologies and share it internally to integrate them in our projects and technical specifications.

On Mid-term, you will also support Utilities Cluster Lead on providing guidance and leadership to Utilities Cluster team members. You will also manage technical resources adequately according to priorities to ensure the good execution of projects.

Who You’ll Work With

You will directly report to Utilities Cluster Lead and, as Subject Matter Expert, , you will develop and challenge the HVAC or Black Utilities strategy linked to the adequate technologies according to the global roadmap and coordinated with the local support of business departments and Engineering structures.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensured adherence to cGxP and EHS regulations and guidelines for related systems
  • Participate in feasibility studies and built conceptual designs for new projects incoming when required
  • Organize, manage and coordinate the detailed design of HVAC projects and part of Utilities among the Cluster
  • Bring technical expertise to ensure that the best global solution, including technical, cost, Environment, and quality is provided to customers, according to global UCB strategy
  • Ensure the technical follow-up of projects managed by the Utilites Cluster, including an adequately handover in collaboration with the end users and associated departments
  • Develop and maintain a communication flow with projects sponsors, local support groups, Engineering experts and Users. (Stakeholders)
  • Initiate integration of new technologies, if applicable, in projects and technical specifications
  • Mid term : Jointly with Cluster Lead, allocate technical resources and set priorities to ensure successful projects execution

  • Master’s Degree
  • Technical expertise in Pharma or food HVAC & Black Utilities engineering
  • People and project management skills
  • Team-leading and collaboration skills
  • Problem-solving oriented
  • Good communication and organization skills
  • Knowledge of regulations and GxP in Pharmaceutical or food activities is a plus
  • Fluent in French and English
