Intermediate Electrical Engineer – Data Centre Project in Belgium

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Support project engineering teams and oversee electrical engineering development.
Work with clients and project teams to define requirements, develop technical solutions, and support project commercials.
Develop and agree design processes and deliverables.
Lead pre-construction engineering activities, including design development, coordination, technical submittals, and subcontract management.
Assist in improving the QA system and execute project reviews.
Provide technical support to estimating, procurement, commercial, marketing, and bid teams.
Support construction teams remotely and on-site; travel required.
Develop commissioning strategies and assist in commissioning/troubleshooting.
Identify sustainable and value engineering solutions.
Maintain and update the Technical Submittals Library.
Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure specifications, validation, carbon footprint, and value engineering targets are met.
Manage queries through the RFI system and ensure timely resolution.
Oversee procurement from equipment inquiries to delivery, maintaining full audit records.

Requirements:

Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
3–5 years’ experience in engineering/construction (desirable).
Strong technical skills in electrical engineering and construction services.
Proficiency in Amtech, Dialux, Adobe Pro, Bluebeam, Navisworks, BIM360, BIMCollab, and MS Office.
Professionally registered or working toward registration.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations (Design Guides, IS/BS, EN, IEC, Building Regulations).
Proactive and able to work independently.
