This means you will provide innovative finance solutions tailored to the clients’ needs and help them to create a competitive advantage.”

You will not be limited to a specific sector, allowing you to work with clients across various industries, including transport, logistics, manufacturing, oil & gas, pharma, retail, service providers, etc. This is applied to all of our service lines: Assurance, Consulting, Strategy and Transactions, Tax & Legal and Accounting, Compliance & Reporting.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Accounting, Compliance & Reporting : you will assist clients in their financial digital processes e.g. :
• Bookkeeping and reporting, Preparation of VAT, Intrastat declarations and intra-Community statements, Monitoring / closing of accounts (+ closing file), (Periodic) reporting in IAS / IFRS for (non) listed companies, Preparation of consolidation packages, Establishment of annual accounts, Preparation of tax schedules and various tax forms, Reconciliation of accounts (VAT / turnover, salary reconciliation, audit assistance, ...);
• Depending on your interests and experience, you can work on management reports, budgeting, analytical bookkeeping, financial health & competitors analyzes and other financial projects.
• Temporary assignments: depending on the client’s needs, you will assist in general accounting, credit control, internal optimization projects, etc.
• Start-up and scale-up assistance: you will be an active member of the EYnovation ecosystem, with a hands-on and entrepreneurial approach.
  

Your Profile

• You are studying a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a financial or economic orientation (preferably in Accounting/or Taxation);
• You are available to start your internship in the second semester (January/February/March/April 2026);
• You have an internship contract from your school or university;
• You are fluent in Dutch and/or French, and have a good written and spoken knowledge of English;
• You are a born team player, critical, innovative and curious;
• You are client- and results-oriented;
• You are tech-savvy. Experience with Exact Online and/or ERP is a bonus.
• You are looking for an internship with a minimum length of three months.
