Our client is an international market player in its industry.

Due to their further international expansion as well as an upgrade of their service portfolio a new role has been created at their offices in Belgium for an Inventory Control Specialist.

Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for the entire inventory management cycle assuring on time in full supply to the customers while continuously optimizing the running stock
  • You assure a proper PO coordination, both to stock and back-to-back.
  • You follow up the PO execution for timely receival including PO/SO coordination for pump over, SWAP, barging etc.
  • You assure the running stock for your business line can secure OTIF supply and manage all parameters accordingly (level, lead time inboud, quality, deviations…) including detailed tank management overview (stock allocations, stock level/ tank…).
  • You will assure excellent relationships and collaboration with your main in- and external stakeholders such as Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, Custom Brokers, Terminals/ Warehouses and 3rd Party Service Providers or Haulers assuring deliverables and SLA’s are respected.
  • You will ensure timely management reporting and provide the necessary input in management meetings for quick resolution of issues that could affect the Operations.
  • You will follow-up the entire administrative process from purchase order to goods receipt over to invoice verification within the ERP System.
  • You will support and collaborate strongly with the Finance Team towards inventory balances, running stock reconciliations, approval of freight costs and purchase order payment forecasting input.
  • You will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager of the Group.
  • You obtained a Master or Bachelor degree or equivalent through relevant experience.
  • You gained a solid inventory management experience within the process industry or with a Tank Storage Logistics Party.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of Dutch, French, Spanish or German is a strong plus.
  • You are action- and detailoriented, stress-resistant and service-minded. You are a real team-player, able to work autonomous.
  • You are a strong communicator at all levels, able to communicate in a clear and timely manner assuring strong stakeholder management. Constructive interactions give you energy.
  • You like to take initiatives while identifying possible process improvements and contribute to overall improvement projects.
  • Good knowledge of Excel combined with ERP-experience.
