Beschrijving

For a company based in Antwerp, we’re looking for an IoT Engineer. This company specializes in high-tech sensor solutions for building management. Think of infrared and head count sensors for the analysis and smart interpretation of data within a building for large customers such as Adobe, AXA etc.. Based on the collected data from these sensors, their clients can determine whether certain rooms require more frequent cleaning, whether the temperature needs to be changed, or whether the room can be rented or sold because it is not being used optimally.

Besides the installation of sensors, this company has also developed (mobile) applications and kiosks to manage all data. As an IoT Engineer, you will be responsible for the further support of the IoT devices and ensure that all data is correctly collected in the systems. In addition, you will do research on new sensors, test them and see if they are of sufficient quality to add to their range. Furthermore, you are the contact person for two colleagues with whom you work closely. In the long term you may be able to grow into a more coaching role.

They offer a gross salary in line with the market and a company car with fuel card, a net allowance, an internet allowance, group and hospitalization insurance and a mobile phone subscription. In addition, you will be working in an open environment where there is plenty of room for autonomy. This also means that you can work flexible hours and regularly work from home.

Profiel

  • Degree in IT/Computer Science/Computer or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience in IoT engineering
  • A hands-on mentality and pragmatic problem solver
  • Experience with IoT technologies
  • Knowledge on IoT communication platforms and mechanisms (LoRaWAN-LNS, MQTT,...)
  • Experience with TTN LNS (TTES v3.12 and up)
