What they have in common is the pursuit of energy efficiency and the maximum return on the energy system as a whole.To further sustain and accelerate our growth we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer.As a Test Automation Engineer you develop software for the purpose of testing our cloud-based IoT platform.You build the software needed to automate our tests to test our cloud-based IoT platform.Our services provide a unique challenge when it comes to test automation: we run software on an edge device, connected to a variety of local hardware (EV chargers, heat pumps, energy meters, etc) and on our cloud back-end with a UI and App’s. Designing and implementing a reliable and efficient test framework for such a solution will be one of the most interesting challenges of your career.In this role, you build and maintain the test infrastructure for testing the functionality of our cloud-based IoT platform. You’ll work with the software development team to make sure their code is testable, and with the DevOps team to make sure your test infrastructure fits nicely into the CI/CD pipelines.You ensure that the test reports of all levels (Unit, CI/CD, System, End2End) are merged and can be viewed transparently at any time. You continuously design and implement the metrics to monitor the correct operation of our solutions.The test infrastructure you put in place supports the companies rapid international growth, and enable us to maintain high up times and comply with demanding SLA’s. You will help us to grow our IoT solution into a robust, scalable and configurable platform that forms the basis of the Enervalis Smartpower Suite©. Connected to hundreds of thousands of edge devices around the world, collecting millions of data points and controlling assets like EV charge points, battery storage systems, heat pumps and more. This energy management platform powers our state of the art algorithms to predict the production and consumption of green energy and balance supply and demand on the electricity grid. Basically your daily work will help transform the global energy sector to shift from fossil-based systems to renewable energy sources.This is a full-time position in our office in Hasselt (Belgium). We offer a hybrid model of working two days at the office, and three days from home.
