The Business Unit Marketing & Sales, located in the Brussels Tower, is looking for a Functional Analyst.
As a Functional Analyst within our Agile organization, you belong to a chapter within the functional area (team gathering all functional analyst) and will be assigned to a squad (multidisciplinary team working on a specific product/process).

Your mission

  • you are the functional point of contact within your squad and make the link between your squad and other squads or CoE’s. You are the ‘bridge’ between business profiles and technical profiles
  • you analyze and translate requirements and processes and journeys into functional specifications in which customer centricity, cost-efficiency and feasibility are key
  • you challenge the requirements, analyze the impact and de-risk the implementation via an iterative approach, ensuring rapid time to market and immediate value-creation, (build components at the same time as implementing planned business changes)
  • you propose end to end solutions, in collaboration with other squads and CoE, that meet the customer needs/business requirement within the feasibility of our enterprise architecture and strategy
  • you follow the progress and are responsible for the quality of the delivered solutions
  • you execute functional and non-functional tests in collaboration with other squads and squad members based on test scenarios for which you are end to end responsible
  • you ensure a smooth collaboration/communication and alignment between and with all counterparts
  • you work in an agile mode and always consider an iterative (focus on rapid value-creation and efficiency) and component-based approach
  • you actively exchange knowledge and advocate re-use of similar components between squads, chapters and CoEs
  • you actively participate in the agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint retrospective,…
  • you continuously develop by learning new skills and competencies to increase your autonomy
  • you share your knowledge with your colleagues in and out of your squad and chapter
  • you monitor & analyze incidents and defects and identify the necessary actions to resolve them
  • you proactively propose improvements to microservices, applications, journey and processes
  • you identify improvement opportunities on best practices, governances and standards

Your profile

  • master or equal through experience
  • good knowledge and understanding of the Belgian energy market
  • strong analytical capabilities and ability to detect/assess dependencies
  • good listener, you think and act with a customer-centric mindset
  • good communication, facilitation and presentation skills
  • stress resistant, you maintain your efficiency and productivity when under pressure
  • growth mindset, you are ready/able to rapidly accept changes
  • assertive and ability to work autonomously
  • trilingual: English, French, Dutch
