K&K Social resources & development GmbH is an International recruiting agency that is providing technical resources in the European region since 1993. This position is with one of our clients who is actively hiring candidates in order to expand their teams.

Role: IT Project Manager (Application)

Location: Ghent, Belgium

Job Type: Full-time permanent

Your role

In the role of a Project Manager, you will take end-to-end bottom line responsibility for a Project right from proposal to project completion. You need to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and within budget. You will be responsible for collaborating with the client, developing, and executing project plans that embrace best practices, change management, quality management, effective communication plans, requirements management, and securing all necessary resources needed to achieve the project objectives. You will anchor the building of project teams, schedule assignments, monitor, review, and report project status, manage project risks, ensure successful delivery, take complete ownership of people and their performance management in the project and to provide the highest level of service offering to client.

Required

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science or foreign equivalent required.

Will also consider three years of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education

• 10+ years of experience working in Software development/Maintenance Projects.

• 5+ years of experience in managing Projects

• Solid understanding of best practices in project lifecycle methodology and project management principles

• Working experience on ITIL support framework and tools

• Experience in managing both internal resources, subcontractors and third parties/vendors

• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

• Knowledge of project estimation techniques

• Experience in working on Proposals and contract preparation

• Experience in Client Management, Project Operation Management, and People Management.

• Experience in Project Tracking, Controlling, and Reporting

• Good Communication and Decision-making Skills

• Fluency in English and Dutch is a must.

Preferred

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
